The International Mechanical Pulping Conference, hosted by TAPPI, will be held on September 26 -28, 2016, in Jacksonville, Florida, USA.  IMPC 2016 is a part of the TAPPI PEERS Conference, organized by TAPPI.   

The Conference Program Committee invites you to submit papers on the following topics:

TAPPI is offering a forum for researchers and coating technologists to present their findings concerning coating fundamentals and leading edge developments relating to paper surface treatment, printing operations & functional coatings. TAPPI’s Advanced Coating Symposium will be held October 4–6, 2016 in Stockholm Sweden at the Innventia headquarters.

The European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence (www.epnoe.eu) is dedicated to connecting academia, research institutes and companies in the areas of polysaccharide related research, education and knowledge transfer. One aspect is to promote young academics at the very beginning of their scientific career. In this context, the 1st International EPNOE Junior Scientists Meeting, held in January 2015 at Wageningen University (The Netherlands), was a great success.

Potentian topics:

  • State of the art and/or predicted progressive systems in pulp, paper, paperboard and tissue manufacturing
  • Cutting-edge and next generation developments in the chemistries of pulp, paper, paperboard and tissue additive
  • New developments in biorefinery and nanotechnology processes

Deadlines: 

Nordic Polymer Days (NPD) and Nordic Rheology Conference (NRC) are annual meetings circulating among the Nordic countries. Both have a long history - in 2016 NPD is organized for the 53rd time and NRC for the 25 th time.
